Great food but it varies so i think it depends on who is cooking here.Friendly staff.

I had the steak, shrimp, chicken and rice dinner. It was good, except my steak was burnt. The chicken and shrimp were fabulous!

Had to ask to be seated after standing for 10 mins waiting, then left us at a table for 25 mins without even getting a drink order, we made this aware to them as we walked out and all that was said was... ok! I know they were busy but that was ridiculous

Awesome! And the lunch buffet rocked.

Good food but it was cold ....seems warming tables are not working..who wants cold cheese dip .?? Did have good service.

Stopped in for lunch and chose the buffet which was a good value for the money. We will definitely be back to try some menu items. The homemade hot sauce was very good. Service was great and our waiter was very attentive to our needs.

Good place for Mexican food. Roomy and comfortable large booths. Usually quiet. Food reasonably priced.

I came in today on my lunch break and ordered the lunch special. My order was prepared in correctly . When I brought it to the attention of the waitress, she went an spoke with the manager who refused to replace my order or give me a discount. The manager was not very professional when it came to handling the situation.This is the first time I ever received service like this .

Best quality for best price within the region! I never felt disappointed on the food, frustrated by the service, or agitate by the price!

Fantastic service and wonderful food. Everything is prepared deliciously and the chips are the best in town, fresh made and delicious.

Slow service, bland food, bad location. Other wise a cute spot.

Food was very tasty, but the only downside is that it wasn't hot. It barely Luke warm, which can lead to possible health hazards. I've never had a Mexican Buffet before though, so there got the Monopoly on that! Unlimited cheese dip!

We waited forever for drink order after chips salsa put on table..after another customer told their waitress we had been waiting...they did too...probably 15+minutes. So their waitress waited on us. Food was good...but never asked on a drink refil til almost finished

All the usual items. Lunch buffet. Service is usually fast & friendly. Not expensive. There is a bar in a separate area serving beer, mixed & frozen drinks which can also be served at your table or booth.

Fajita night is our favorite. I always get the chicken and steak. Salsa is amazing too.

It has gone down lately. I ordered a Ricardo steak(which is usually very good) and it was ruined meat. It has a bad smell too. They did replace it.On a different day I asked the waiter for a small margarita and he said they don't have small only the 16oz so I told him ok. I found out later he lied so he could make a bigger sale.I used to love this place but looks like time for a change.

WE LOVE CARLOS MEXICAN GRILL! We eat here once in a while, when we're in town. It's always a good experience. They have the best Margaritas around, as far as I'm concerned. We usually go during the lunch hours. I really like the decor. I know they have music in the evenings, but we've not been there to see it. I like the Camarones Al la Diablo. My husband gets the chicken and steak fajitas. Great price point & more than fair on alcohol beverages.

Carlos is my go to for chicken fajitas. This has been a local fave of mine for years. The also have a lunch buffet but I prefer to order from the menu so that I can have it made the way I like it. The buffet prices are reasonable and great for individuals that's pressed for time but still wants a good meal. Try your salsa on your fajitas it gives them an extra kick.

The house special was fabulous! We had really good service and I loved how the restaurant was laid out, made it feel like we were in our own private nook.

Just left there. Waitress came over asked for order, brought food, then ticket. I needed a refill for half the time I was there. My son dropped his fork and all workers looked up from their phones then failed to ask if we needed another one as they continued to sit there. I eat here often so very disappointed in the service tonight. Food was okay, not great. Better places to eat in town.

Wonderful Mexican food at a decent price. They have a good buffet bar from 11am till 2 pm each day, even Sunday. Very nice staff also, and since I'm a vegetarian I look and rate restaurants for there selections. They a very tasty selection of veggie dishes. The only criticism is that the place is understaffed and takes a little longer to get your food then i would like.

The food was very Burt and me and some of my friends came in to eat we spent almost 60 dollars for 4 people and when we came in the person in the front had a attitude and it smelt like weed and cigarettes in there and we seen a roach craw in the lady in the front purse and we was like eww.

Did get good service had to ask for to go plates,cheese sauce and ticket.

Carlo's is the closest I have found to the Mexican food in California. I'm glad they are back open.

Our first trip here. Nice atmosphere. Great margaritas and ice cold beer. Good chips and salza. The meal was okay but not the best Mexican food I've eaten. Service was very good. All in all a nice dining experience.

Server was rude. The food was atrocious. The atmosphere was very tight. Really no room.

Great little Mexican spot in Alex City. They have a buffet for the lunch not sure about dinner. But the buffet is usually pretty good Limited types of food but they have their queso dip on the buffet so you can get as much cheese as you want! Everything is better with queso dip! Very friendly staff really big on the inside so can accommodate groups. There is a bar on one side of it restaurant on the other.
